It was so great to get away this past weekend to the big smoke...
I probably take it for granted that London is so close to Brighton and don't seem to visit as often as I should, but with my friends birthday on the Friday and a last minute trip with the mother, it was great to spend some quality time in London, visiting some favourite haunts and new ones!
We spent Saturday afternoon watching Miss Saigon, which I must confess didn't make me cry as I was previously informed I would (heart of stone obviously) but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did - but it's no Lion King is it?
We drank lot's of wine, ate more than enough food and wandered the streets of London town until we needed more wine!
