JUST A FEW

DSC04265 DSC04284small DSC04281small

Don't worry, I am still alive, just slowly drowning in everything wedding related!!!

It's all good though, my brain is slowly getting my head around it, and finally on track with figuring out what we want to do. I may of had a slight breakdown last week, and I couldn't bare to think about weddings ever again, but unfortunately once your brain knows, it won't let you switch off (which my brain struggles to do anyway) so I've had one too many late nights, lying awake with ideas floating around my head.

Like I said, I am a lot more relaxed now and fingers crossed all will come together very soon :)

I am still to get round to sorting out all my pictures from Prague, so here are a few pics snapped by the lovely Chelle (one of our Prague partner is crimes) just after we had stumbled across the 'Love Bridge' and locked our padlock to the bridge. They were just what I was after. Thanks again Chelle.

GUESS WHAT...

I am back from an amazing Birthday weekend in Prague, and I only went and got myself engaged *jumps up and down uncontrollably waving arms in the air*

I am over the moon right now, and it's all still sinking in. I will be back soon with some more gossip and pictures...

p.s and yes, we are that annoying couple that have created their own 'celebrity' name, but for some reason it has stuck (as in Suzi +Simon= Sumon)

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR

I am currently deep in front door research.
It is about time we finally sorted the front of our house out, and recently I have loved researching different ideas, with how I want the finished product to look like.
Obviously I would love for money not to be an issue, but of course it is, so I am currently searching the web for fun ideas, that can be done as cheap as possible.
It's an endless search for the colour scheme, materials, accessories...but Pinterest is my best friend right now

If you have any other ideas for me, just send them over...

A STROLL AROUND LONDON TOWN

On Sunday we decided to jump in the car and head up to London for the day. It was the perfect day to stroll around the city, taking in the sights and having the time to talk about anything and everything.
We started the day at Borough Market, which unfortunately was closed (silly me) but pottered down the Southbank, popping into the Tate Modern and taking a pit stop for donuts. We took in the city views with a whirl on the London Eye as Si hadn't been on it before, and ended the day eating the BEST burgers in the whole wide world over at Patty and Bun (I said I would be back didn't I?)

SATURDAY FLOWERS

As the sun decided to show and put a smile on my face I thought I deserved some bright flowers to honour the occasion. Just the icing on the cake to this wonderful Saturday.

Happy Weekend to you all.

SUMMER IN WINTER CHICKEN

chicken

As this weather hasn't decided which way is up, I thought I would share with you one of my favourite dishes that is easy to whip up, come summer or winter. The recipe comes from BBC good food, and I always find myself going back to it, as it's just so yummy. It's kind of an awkward meal to photograph due to the green vibe it gives off, but trust me, it tastes a lot better than it looks.

You have two options for this dinner, either with mash for the winter, or if your aching for the sun like me, go with rice for summer (maybe secretly if we all do this, summer may actually appear)

To feed four hungry people you will need,

1 tbsp olive oil
4 chicken breasts (diced)
200g cherry tomatoes
Mushrooms (optional)
3 tbsp pesto
3 tbsp creme fraiche

1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the chicken and fry for 6-8 until it takes on some colour
2. Add the pesto and creme fraiche and keep stirring for another 3-4 minutes
3. Add the cherry tomatoes (and mushrooms) for a further 4-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked (to check slice a piece in half, if it isn't pink then you are good to go)
4. Serve with rice or mash

Now let's all get our sun dance on...

A FEW FROM MARCH

It actually scares me with how quick this year is going! It's April already, and I am absolutely failing at completing my 24 for 25 list (3 weeks to go now) I really need to get my arse in gear. Anyway here a few snaps from the month of March.
