This past weekend I was in London visiting a few friends, so not ones to completely relax at the weekend, we rose early to make our 8.30am reservation with the clouds...
Duck and Waffle sits 40 floors up with panoramic view over London town and the best thing - it's open 24 hours. This was my second visit, but first to sample the breakfast menu. Wonderfully simple and with their namesake 'Duck and Waffle' sitting proudly at the top. I still didn't have the heart to try it as sweet and savoury dishes aren't really my thing, so perhaps one day I will. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be ordering it though, so it must be good!
The morning calm soon turned into a room full of excitable chatter, whilst we continued to catch up with each others gossip. It's a really special place to spend with your loved ones, and although you will pay more for dining in the sky, overall it's really worth this visit.
