HONEYMOON // SAN FRANSISCO

San Fransisco was short, but very sweet indeed...

After a 12 hour drive up the Pacific highway from LA (with a few stops along the way) we arrived tired and bleary and ready to get stuck into our 2 days in Northern California.
Most people I have spoken to have sung San Fransiscos praises, and it didn't disappoint. The beautiful houses, quirky shops and general happy atmosphere made our few days very enjoyable. Although there is the obvious tourist spots, like the Golden Gate Bridge (above) and the windy road (Lombard Street) You generally just get lost in the loveliness of the city. We indulged in burgers at Umami (the truffle cheese was to die for) tried Clam Chowder down at Pier 39, walked through China town and hopped on watched a Tram go up the steep hills (we didn't fancy paying $7 when we really didn't need to go on it)

We loved the relaxed vibe the whole city gave off, and one day we will be back for a longer visit.
Chow for now San Fransisco.
