HONEYMOON // NEW YORK
We have finally reached the end of the honeymoon snaps and I have just one more instalment (I can't tell you how much I have struggled with sorting through, and editing all these photos)
The last stop is New York City. A place I hold in my heart, and a place I just couldn't wait to step foot in again. We stayed in Greenwich Village and spent our 2 days trying to not play tourist at all. Having been a few times before we stayed clear of times square and explored the villages and downtown with eager anticipation hopping into cafes along the way. We explored chelsea market, got lost in Greenwich village, strolled with the locals along the Hudson river on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and ate far to many cupcakes.
^^^
Magnolia Bakery cupcakes from the original bleeker street shop (okay this a tourist thing to do, but when you queue for a cupcake at 11.30pm at night you know they are good)
^^^
brunch at The Standard, Highline
^^^
Do you recognise this building?
"so no one told you life was gonna be this way..."
We stumbled past it in Greenwich village
^^^
We also accidently spotted 'Carrie Bradshaws' apartment, and Si snapped me realising after I spotted about 10 people just taking photos of some steps
Our feet and legs were so tired after all of the walking done in NYC, let alone in the whole 2 weeks, so we finished the honeymoon off with what else than a burger in good old 'Five guys'
Honeymoon complete.
