ZIPPING IN WALES
On day two we woke to our next challenge. Zipping across ^^this bad boy^^
Travelling for a mile, 500ft up and reaching speeds of 100mph, I was very excited indeed.
We were suited and booted up in some delightful red overalls, and sent on our way.
We were able to get a taster first with a smaller run, which was great to get a feel of what was to come.
We were then sent to the very top, via a very bumpy journey through the working slate mines, and strapped up for our descent. My fear levels are quite low, so to me it is more fun than scary so I stuck my hand up to go first, and I was sent on my way
The scariest bit for me is the actual thought of hanging there by some straps, but once I was over the fact that I wasn't going to fall out, I was happy. Overall it wasn't scary and you don't seem to appreciate the speed you are going as you are quite high up, but it's the longest Zipwire in Europe, so I will take that. Oh and it was something ticked off the ever expanding 'to do list'

After touchdown, with tremendous hat hair
You can find Zipworld in Bethesda, Bangor with full info over at their website

I've been eyeing this up, but I'm not the best with heights. Maybe something to put on the list of things to do when I visit home?
